Export process

Eight steps. Zero compromise.

From smallholder farm to international port, here is exactly how every Asili order moves.

  1. 1

    Farm

Smallholder partner farms in Kenya's central highlands. We monitor crops weekly during peak season.

  2. 2

    Harvest

Hand-picked at peak ripeness, between dawn and 10am. Same-day collection in refrigerated vans.

  3. 3

    Pack-house arrival

Receiving inspection within 2 hours of harvest. Pre-cooling to 4 °C.

  4. 4

    Sort & grade

Manual + optical sorting against buyer specifications. Defects routed to local market.

  5. 5

    Pack

Custom packs — punnets, flow-wraps, cartons, bulk. Lot-coded and traceable.

  6. 6

    Cold storage

Held at 2–8 °C in our 1,200 pallet-position facility until airfreight dispatch.

  7. 7

    Airport

Daily reefer trucking to JKIA perishable terminal. Loaded into temperature-controlled ULDs.

  8. 8

    Destination

Arrival at your hub within 24–48 hours of harvest. Documentation pre-cleared.
