Why Ustaarabu wa Mwanamke exists.

Ustaarabu wa Mwanamke began in a small courtyard in Stone Town — a handful of women, a pot of ginger tea, and a decision to stop building alone.

Today we're a community of women across Zanzibar and the wider East African coast: entrepreneurs, mothers, students, professionals. We come together to learn, to be coached, to trade honestly, and to celebrate one another's small and enormous wins.

We believe financial confidence is a form of freedom. We believe good coaching is a right, not a luxury. And we believe an island can grow world-shaping women.
